Production Specialist (25V) MOS Combat Documentation/Production Specialist (25V) MOS Combat Documentation/Production Specialists are primarily responsible for supervising, planning and operating electronic and film-based still, video and audio acquisition equipment in order to document combat and non-combat operations. Duties performed by soldiers in this MOS include: Operates and performs unit level maintenance on motion, still, and studio television cameras; electronic and film-based processing, editing, audio, and printing darkroom equipment; prepares captions for documentation images; operates and performs PMCS on assigned vehicles and power generators.Supervises and provides technical guidance to subordinate documentation/production team members, monitors, operates, and performs unit level maintenance on master control systems; aligns and adjusts video cameras; prepares video reports for review by commanders and planning staff; operates and performs unit level maintenance on still video transmission systems. Training Information and Basic Skills/Duties Job training for a combat documentation/production specialist requires 10 weeks of Basic Combat Training and 12 weeks of Advanced Individual Training with on-the-job instruction. Part of this time is spent in the classroom and in the field.
